She purchased her HP system as a package about 18mo ago from Circut City, it was just a generic all around semi-current technology at the time system, not any sort of multimedia/heavyduty gaming system package or anything with extraordinary resources, etc. I took it to my neighbors system it installed and played just fine. To give you some idea, I'm able to run these games successfully - Ricochet Bejeweled2, Zuma, JewelQuest, Cubis2, Schroomz, Luxor are the newest ones, I have others as well. to end the program, as this seems the only way to escape the "blackened hole I am trapped in", I am surprised that it does NOT show the familiar 'not responding' comment next to the program name. You know the one that thanks you for playing the game and gives you options of Play Game, Other Games, the X to close the window and also tells you the window will close automatically in 15,14,13.seconds. After install and registration, I clicked the 'Return to Game' to start playing, the screen goes black - an audible beep and an error message box appears stating "Unable to set graphics mode" which waits for me to click on the 'OK' button before returning to the programs closing screen. Psychoballs, is the game I am referring to. I have never had any problem installing, running, or playing any of them. I have several games from the Reflexive Arcade site.
